Linda Wood has more than 25 years’ experience working across the aquaculture sector. With a background in veterinary science and biosciences, she has held technical, development, and corporate responsibility roles with many leading UK seafood companies. This includes several years at Marks & Spencer, most recently as Aquaculture & Fisheries Manager, driving the retailer’s responsible sourcing strategy across fisheries and seafood raw materials.

In 2025, Linda became CEO of Community Catch, supporting small‑scale fishing communities through accessible social and environmental certification.

Linda’s career includes collaboration, partnership and promoting innovation with international supply chains, where she has championed high standards in food safety, sustainability, and seafood welfare. Values‑led and purpose‑driven, Linda is committed to supporting a healthier, more responsible seafood industry. As a Non‑Executive Director of SAIC, she brings deep technical insight and a collaborative, forward‑looking approach.
