FHF has announced calls for projects in aquaculture and wild-capture fisheries. The calls relating to aquaculture cover the following topics: 

  • Knowledge base for possible protection of food-producing areas at sea
  • Mapping the value creation potential of reusing wooden pallets in a value chain perspective
  • Identification of uncertainty and new knowledge base for estimation of the actual and relative impact of salmon lice on wild salmo
  • Risk-reducing measures for low oxygen levels in open cages
  • Biosecurity related to boat transport in the aquaculture industry
  • Knowledge that can contribute to better prevention of IPN in Norwegian aquaculture
  • Digital decision support for strengthened fish welfare during crowding operations with Atlantic salmon in the sea
  • Knowledge base for notification and risk assessment of fish-damaging algae in Norwegian aquaculture
  • Knowledge boost for good documentation of aquaculture's effect on benthic communities
  • Knowledge base and validation framework for modelling the dispersion of particulate emissions from marine food fish farms.
