It was a great pleasure for the team at SAIC to welcome Mr Ivan McKee, MSP, to our offices at the University of Stirling Innovation Park on Wednesday 13 March.

Minister for Trade, Investment and Innovation, Mr McKee wanted to discover more about SAIC and the work we do to help grow Scottish businesses through innovative R&D projects that connect academia and the aquaculture industry.

We were glad to be joined by Martin Haberfield from AquaGen and Ian Jamieson from Pulcea, who presented overviews of their work to the Minister. Also located at the Innovation Park, both of these thriving businesses are part of the 111-member strong SAIC Consortium.

Following the visit, Mr McKee commented: “It was great to hear about the important work by SAIC, who are linking Scottish research expertise to business innovation.”
