Chief Executive Officer

We are now inviting applications and expressions of interest for new members to join the SAIC Board for a minimum of two current and potential future vacancies. We are seeking Board members with an industrial, innovation or academic background.

The role of Board members

As a member of the SAIC Board you would:

  • set the strategic vision and direction of the organisation
  • monitor progress through the KPIs set out in the business plan
  • oversee financial performance and ensure accountability to funders
  • support and manage the CEO, who leads a high-performing team.

This is, without doubt, a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the growth of a key economic sector in Scotland – a sector of global importance in which we can be world-leading.

Equality and diversity are hugely important to SAIC, and applications are welcomed from talented people from all experiences and perspectives. We especially encourage applications from groups under-represented on Scotland’s public bodies, and from technology-driven or innovation-oriented companies.

Thanks for your interest – we look forward to hearing from you!
