Fringe event: Biotech in Aquaculture
This SAIC/ IBioIC joint workshop aims to bring together people from the British and European aquaculture industries, including the supply chain and those with a biotech background, to generate project ideas and collaborations.
There are a lot of by-product streams from aquaculture (traditional and emerging) that are currently under-utilised. These waste streams will be explored and those that could be upcycled by biotech determined, as well as discovering what added value can be generated.
